Spring
by Ash

On and On and On we go,
another winter past.
Seeing another winter gone,
the passage of time so fast.

Daffodils and Snowdrops bloom,
across the verdant lawns.
The waking call of life begins again,
with every cold spring dawn.

Old and new blend together now,
'midst shifting sands of time.
Sunbeams on my windowsill,
the days are young and mine.

Magpies in the treetops building,
waiting for their young.
Foxes in my garden playing,
how it looks so fun.

My pledge for spring is this;
To live life how I plot.
So tell me to act my age if desired,
For truly...I care not.
